Congratualtions to Mike Singletary and the 49ers for finishing a season with a respectable 7-9 record after a start that had long-time fans like me (I remember John Brodie) scratching our heads. And to the Yorks finally got their heads out of their collective nether regions and signed probably the best coaching prospect for the organization since Bill Walsh.
The intensity and experience that Singletary brings to the team can only bring us hope of a winning season. That doesn't mean that it's all just going to show up on it's own. They have a lot of work still to do and this year shows that 9-7 or even 11-5 may not be good enough to get into the playoffs.
Still, here's a fan from Grand Junction, CO that is still faithful and proud again to where the team colors! Even in Bronco Country!
